PATRIOTISM

As we only know to fight for our position in the Top 3, as we are used to since our child hood, want to rank number 1, rank at office, for a better pay, and all we know of is racing against ourown self.
Lets have a quick retrospective session, I wont stress on your memory. Lets just talk about a day back in time. So what did you do on Indias 62nd Republic day? Sat at home all day enjoying your holiday? Ok. Made it for the function for the flag hoisting? Is it enough? neways, even if you did that, I am glad. But I bet most ofus just, looed up to the flag in great pride may be for a few momentsand then you were back onto your couch watching some latest pirated cd/dvd movie and enjoying the holiday. Your feelings need to extend from those few moments you looked up to the flag to your entire day, from this one day in the year to the entire year, and yes certainly for your lifetime. And remember you are not the first one to do this… Martyrs have lived, died and relived in our hearts being as true Indians. Just an Indian citizenship doesn’t really make you an Indian dear!

Patriotism is not ind Vs Pak match, or wen u just look at a flag or wen a bombing happens, most of d times wen we share videos of AR rehmans Vande matarm or bhagat singh's Des Mere Des mere, where our freedom fighters shed their blood on this very ground to get us the "Freedom" and are we really free? We dont even do things freely nor do we do any contribution for this country and its people! once we say happy republic day we go back to our daily deities, But we definitely forget it when we cast our vote in the elections, when a week long hungry beggar asks for a rupee, when we shamelessly throw garbage on the roads and yet so many times more Patriotism is observed as nothing else than the ‘pain on the prick of a pin’... Our country has been invaded, destroyed, humiliated,  by many!! And they all have never left! from Afghan rulers to French, to Persians to the Britishers. They are all within our own country, they are within us. They have left in us a long lasting essence which belongs to their own, yet, we name it diversity. Very well, so be it, still, we aren't unite. We have conflict of opinion in every region, relay and response, in every aspect, opinion and interest!

We are still invaded, invasion itself is a culture left by people who invaded us, and invasion itself is a culture we have put to rule under the hands of our politicians. Common man is nothing but a puppet in the hands of illegitimate law and order framed by the Politicians. From discriminations to discouragements, from unethical acts to misintegrity, a common man is prone to such cruel sorcery! But we are adapted to find our own profit in every act provoked by them. Yet we live, yet we die! An empty stomach cannot blow the seditious sound of the war Bugle. We are hungry, we are set to take on the battle, all we need is food called opportunity!

As its defined, patriotism is like a needle that joins and unites and not a scissor that cuts and divides, lets do something about being an Indian, lets contribute, even if its very less, give to the needy, spare a penny, give food, share a laugh, smile, do it for yourself, do it for your country
The very fact that you are reading these lines now, is that I have got you interested. Those who weren’t have left long behind.
patriotism is like a needle that joins and unites and not a scissor that cuts and divides..... lets all find ways to contribute to our society...Jaihind....
